A child full of life
Manon is a bright, curious and endearing little girl. Like every child, she loves to play, laugh and explore the world around her. But Manon’s path is filled with obstacles that few children ever face.
Manon lives with a mitochondrial genetic disease, a rare condition that affects the way her cells produce energy and impacts her entire development.
Daily courage
Every day, Manon moves forward with remarkable determination. A gesture, a sound, a shared smile: every bit of progress is a victory, and her whole family celebrates it.
To support her, her parents surround her with tailored care and therapies: physiotherapy, psychomotor therapy, conductive education, equine therapy… so many “tools” that help Manon gain independence and confidence.
Our goal is simple: to give Manon as many keys as possible so she can find her own path, at her own pace.
Why this charity?
Many of these therapies are not covered by the French health system. Manon’s parents created the Manon Cœur de Lion charity in 2019 so she could still benefit from them, and to help other families going through the same thing.
Today, thanks to the generosity of many people, Manon keeps moving forward. And that is thanks to you too.
